Shelley,

Is rtf not a viable option here? Why not use that format when migrating the file to the Braille Sense? Have you brought this to the attention of GW Micro tech support? If not, contact them, and they might have a solution for you. 260-489-3671

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Braille Sense can't edit Bookshare books

Wanted to share my findings.

Alas.

I put a doc file on the Braille Sense, that I am borrowing until I get my
Braillenote back from the shop, and it promptly ate the page breaks.

I can not find them in the file, and word doesn't show that they are present
in the file.

So if this is so, then the Braille Sense is not something I would advise
editing or validating books for Bookshare on.

Alas, will have to wait until my trusty Braillenote is back.

It shows the file really nicely, and is an easy way to read the books, but
don't try editing using this device. Until they can figure out how to keep
page breaks.
