Oh.

I was told we could contact authors and publishers and then refer them to
the liaison if they were interested.

We have been told that we are never to contact either authors or publishers
about donating their books because there is a Bookshare publisher liaison to
handle that and if volunteers do it then the publisher liaison may make
contact without knowledge of prior relationships that volunteers may have
established and that can cause a mess. If there is an author who you want to
donate a book then you should contact Bookshare about it and let them handle
it.

Hello.

I just e-mailed the author of Solipsist asking if he would be willing to
donate his book. He sent me a PDF version. Who on the Bookshare staff
should I send this to?

Thank you.

I'm excited about the immediate and positive response.
