    Won't page breaks be lost altogether if you convert to txt?  Am I
misremembering that too?

No, I do not have Word. I have proofread a number of books in Wordpad, but,
as you know, that is not ideal. I thought that proofreading it in Open Book
would be better, so this is the first one I did that with. If I had known
this was going to happen I would have just stuck with Wordpad. Creating or
using a macro is something I know nothing about. Converting it to txt is
something I have not tried. Do you think that if I converted it to txt and
saved it in Notepad I could then convert it to rtf?

Roger, without developing a macro, there is no easy way to fix that.
Just curious--does it do that w/text as well? Perhaps if u have word u
could save it as a text file, load it in2 word, & convert to rtf, .
I've been workin w/another person on this list who uses OB & it does
indeed do some weird things w/the conversion.
