[birdky] whooping cranes shot

Don't know if this has been posted before or not, but three of the 11 whooping 
cranes just released into the refuge (near Baraboo, Wisconsin) where they 
fledged were shot in their initial migration in southern Georgia. Only 500 
cranes remain. Details can be found on the web site of the International Crane 
Foundation.
