I didn't get my first hummer until the end of May and presently have a male and
a female visiting. Other observations.....I had a Chipping Sparrow feeding a
Cowbird yesterday and again today.....yikes....first time I've seen that
combination. Although all my Woodpeckers have continually visited my feeders
for peanuts, I've yet to see babies of any (Red-bellied, Downy, and
Red-headed). I'm hoping that everything is just late.

For anyone interested, I spent part of June in Florida and then Barrow, AK. I
just posted my images. Barrow was an incredible trip and a real "weather
shock" going from 97 degrees in Florida to 17 degree wind chill/40mph winds in
Barrow and then back to the oven when I got home.
