I birded western Henderson Co. this morning. 6:30AM, 54º clear, fog
rising off the sloughs.
In order I hit: Grassy Pond/Powell's Lake Unit, 1574 slough,
Horseshoe Road slough, 268 slough, Pond Creek Marsh, Hardy Slough,
Shorebird Unit.
Water is high everywhere but Horseshoe Road slough where it is gone
and 268 slough where it going to dry up soon.
First of the season:
Brown Creeper 1 at HS Nashville Warbler 1 at HS Magnolia Warbler 4 at HS Yellow-rumped Warbler 10 at HS Swamp Sparrow 2 at PCM, 3 at HS

Great Egret 1 at 268s Turkey Vulture 10 in a kettle near HS Red-tailed Hawk HS Red-shouldered Hawk HS Bald Eagle 1 Juv. near GP/PL heading toward Hovey Lake in Indiana Am.
