Kayaking the perimeter of Fords Bay on Barkley Lake with close encounters
of Caspian Terns (3) and Spotted Sandpipers (2).

White Pelicans (18) soared above for at least 10 minutes and
disappeared. They seem to be around most any month of the year!!

Tiger Swallowtails were everywhere, but the dragonflies far outnumbered any
species. The spider lilies, mallows (maybe a swamp-rose, looks like a
hibiscus) and a pinkish flower lined the shores . It was a wonderful day .
