Returned to Parsons Pond this morning. Found 13 yellowlegs still at smaller
pond but they were very skittish, taking off when I was still probably 300 feet
away. Heard Greater Yellowlegs call as they left. Not sure of the species
breakdown, but one of my distant pics looks like it has 5 Greater & one Lesser
Yellowlegs. Snipe & Killdeer also there. Waterfowl on both ponds included 15
Blue-winged Teal, 2 Gadwall, 4 Northern Shovelers, 4 American Widgeon, 11
Coots, 2 Mallards, & 2 Pied-billed Grebes.
