After the rain again, 9:30AM till the rain started again at Noon.
Started off looking for Lark Sparrows along McDonald Landing Road.
They were back: 6.
Next off to the best shorebird area left right now: W. Franklin Road.
Finally, Hardy Slough and the Shorebird Unit.
Hardy Slough: 1 Lesser Yellowlegs and 1 Ring-necked Duck
Shorebird Unit: deserted
Water is flowing backwards from Pond Creek into Muddy Slough
Echoing what Brainard mentioned: the Ohio at Uniontown is predicted to
go above flood stage on Tuesday, flooding many already planted fields.
But later will add a lot of shorebird habitat as the water recedes.
Of course Horseshoe Road slough was already full.
