Same here…grackles, cowbirds and starlings feeding with the usual chickadees 
and cardinals. We live back in the woods… I haven’t had any of those here in 
years.

In hoping for something cool to come in with the horde of goldfinches (e.g., a 
redpoll), I unfortunately saw my first House Sparrow in the yard (a female).  I 
haven't been in this neighborhood for a year yet, but one of my favorite things 
was the complete absence of this bird- we are surrounded by a nice buffer of 
pasture and woods.  I hope this bird is simply lost and not a sign of the 
inevitable invasion...
