I've been inspired by Frank "The Sparrow Whisperer" Lyne and thought that I'd
try to get a photo of each sparrow species that we counted today. I didn't
manage a decent photo of a White-crowned, but did get a Field (feeding on
broomsedge), Savannah and Song. Flickr links follow. The last link is a photo
of a Turkey Vulture sunning on the dead-oak snag, across the road, this morning.
