Headed home from Texas, Ben spent today in Fulton County searching for
shorebirds. He said habitat is excellent and there were thousands of
shorebirds scattered wherever there was water. While mainly covering along
the levee and Sycamore Rd., he was struck as to the number of Golden
Plovers in the area - a conservative count of 3,000-5,000 for the day. A
full report will follow.
