We kept a list today that I hadn’t intended to report… until I heard the Common
Yellow-throat singing this morning😊. We counted 45 species, which is one less
than the same 24 hour period, last year.
I actually saw the male Yellow-throat singing in the pond thicket, and a female
lurking close by. There was a pair of Wood-Pewees around the house all day,
and a pair of Rough-winged Swallows on the wires, near the road, this evening.
