Had a chance to head to the Ohio just before sunset today, stopping at
Riverfront park, Towhead Is., Cox and Hutchins Park. Highlights were I
believe my first Horned Grebe this year, a few Lesser Scaup, Winter Wren
and 2 Cedar Waxwings that were feeding in weeds by the river at Cox's Park
curiously. Lots of sparrows at Hutchins near the pond and scanning
starlings flocks at several locations failed to yield any blackbird sp.,
which is a change from previous years.
