I thought Mahonia was indestructible. Previous years, birds flocked to the
berries. The freeze has turned the leaves brown & I assume they will fall
off. Likewise, the blooms have frozen, thus no berries.
Looks like Holly trees are fine. Not sure about their berries.

Cedar berries were minimal this fall around my place. Nonexistent now. Because
of the droughty conditions that shriveled grapes, green briar fruits,
hackberry, dogwood and others, I think the birds got after the cedars earlier
than usual. Poison ivy berries are at a premium too around here. Even coral
berries have been scarfed down. It’s only early January and I’m worried about
what the birds will eat. Unfortunately, invasive bush honeysuckle and
wintercreeper berries are still around.
