Did everyone notice that second year Whooping Crane #6 passed through KY sometime during the past few days and NO ONE noticed? I think Roseanna was closest to the path and she's the one who should have seen it :o) I saw a flock of about 50-75 birds yesterday afternoon over eastern Jefferson County, but they were so high that I couldn't have discerned if there was a white one in there to save my life. The West Liberty, Morgan County, male Ruby-throated Hummingbird was last seen on November 15th. The unknown hummer sp. from Taylorsville, Spencer County, apparently left yesterday or the day before. bpb, Louisville brainard.palmer-ball@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBERS============== The BIRDKY Mailing List requires you to sign your messages with first & last name, city, & state abbreviation. -------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, send e-mail to: birdky@xxxxxxxxxxxxx -------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send e-mail to: birdky-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject line. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the Kentucky Ornithological Society web site at http://www.biology.eku.edu/kos.htm * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * BIRDKY List Manager: Gary Ritchison, Richmond, KY E-mail: gary.ritchison@xxxxxxx
