If an Avocet landed on one of my ponds I would do a back flip. The only bird
more exciting to me may be a Harpy Eagle, but the closest one of those is the
Miami Zoo, followed by Panama.
A friend who gets pretty excited about rare birds has 4 nests of Swallow-tail
Kites one mile from his house in Daytona Beach.
