My excuse is that the wind was blowing so hard, it blew away my pattern
recognition.

Subject: [birdky] Pearson Road with puzzle
With others seeing new shorebirds today, I had to give it a try even though
it was too windy to get pictures without using the truck for a wind break.
Did not walk down to Parsons Pond. Instead viewed Pearson Road Pond from
truck. After downloading my pictures, I marked a bird I first though was
Pectoral Sandpiper as shorebird sp. Markings didn’t look quite right on the
screen for Pec or exactly consistent with any other shorebirds in typical
plumage. I’m hoping it might be a Stilt Sandpiper but was afraid to make a
call without some input from others.
