Hi all,
Don Morse photographed a female King Eider from Chilo lock 34 park in
Clermont Co. OH. This park is on the Ohio River about a mile upstream from
Meldahl Dam (Bracken Co. KY). I do not know which side of the river the
bird was on, about 10% of the river is in Ohio and the photos appear fairly
close to shore. There isn't really a good spot to view this stretch of
river in Kentucky, but the Ohio side is pretty decent.
