body{font-size:10pt;font-family:arial,sans-serif;background -color:#ffffff;color:black;}p{margin:0px;} This afternoon I banded an adult male Rufous Hummingbird at the home of Elaine Rall in Frankfort (1034 Sioux Trail in the Indian Hills neighborhood).The bird has been coming all fall. Anyone wishing to see Elaine's bird can contact her at 502/330-3360 or by email at fourleafer AT me.com (replace AT with @). I'm assuming it will return to her yard, but Bob Sargent told me by email today that he's had a couple of adult males recentlyleave sites where they have been for awhile. This morning I went by the see the bird first; it was sitting in a forsythia bush in her back yard *bathing* in the new snow! I have placed a couple of pics of this guy on the KOS Flickr web site. bpb, Louisville ================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBERS============== When posting on BIRDKY, please close posts with your first and last name and your address (city or county). * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To post on BIRDKY, send e-mail to: birdky@xxxxxxxxxxxxx * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the KOS website at http://www.biology.eku.edu/kos/default.htm * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the KOS Photo Page to view photos of birds recently sighted in Kentucky: http://www.flickr.com/groups/kentucky_ornithological_society/pool * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To unsubscribe, send e-mail to: birdky-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject line. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * BIRDKY List Manager: Gary Ritchison.
