White-winged Scoters are starting to trickle in the Louisville area. This morning there were 5 WWSC's viewed from Buckhead's Restaurant parking lot on Riverside Dr, one beautiful male with white comma below eye and reddish-orange bill, also a couple of adult females present. This afternoon I stopped back again at Buckhead's and the same 5 WWSC's were present. Then I drove to Jeffersonville Waterfront and seen another 5 WWSC's, with one adult male and a couple adult females. I thought these scoters just flew upstream, so I went back to Buckhead's to see if the scoters were still there, they were. One immature Bald Eagle was flying along the Indiana shoreline.
