On the way home from selling some calves this morning I cut through 739. I was sure I saw a whole flock of something big on the far side of Pearson Road transient pond. Returned with scope and found that my flock of big birds was wood flotsam. But Parsons Pond was up and had 7 species of waterfowl - 1 Coot, 3 Greater White-fronted Geese, a pair of Gadwalls, a pair of Redheads, 15 Wood Ducks, 20 + Mallards and 22 Scaup, maybe Lesser. And I saw Jeeves under the thistle sock just before making this post. Several dimly lit and far away waterfowl pics here - https://www.flickr.com/photos/123438032@N04/?
