Had a fairly respectable morning at Parsons Pond, but the only thing that would
let me get close was one of 3 Pectoral Sandpipers. Also saw many Killdeer, 2
Wilson's Snipes, 3 Yellowlegs that were so far away I could only get very
crummy pictures. Greater, I think, because of size. I heard a Greater
Yellowlegs call overhead, but not on the pond where I saw these. Flushed a
couple of Bobwhites walking between ponds. There were also 2 Pied-billed
Grebes, a Canada Goose, 10 Lesser Scaup (check me), 7 Ring-necked Ducks, 5
Green-winged Teals and 2 Mallards. Pics here.
