Walked around Jacobson Park today (10 AM - 12 Noon) and noted three different grebe species swimming in close proximity out in the center of the main reservoir: three red-necked grebes, one horned grebe, and one pied-billed grebe. Two lesser scaup (both males) and four ring-billed gulls were also present in the same area. Also observed a solitary male eastern bluebird (first I've seen this year at the park). Lastly, grackles have returned in large numbers.
