I had my first Indigo Bunting of the year today.
I went back over MY data from eBird going back to 1982 for Henderson County.
The mean of first arrival was 4/22.25
The mode if first arrival was 4/22
The median of first arrival was 4/22
The standard deviation was 3.97
Your milage may vary!
Given that I was not birding every day, I was rather amazed about the
consistency of arrival dates I observed.
