I birded Morgan Muddle this morning- It's down to just about enough water for a starling to get a bath. American Golden-Plover 1 Semipalmated Plover 4 Killdeer ~1000 Black-necked Stilt 6 Greater Yellowlegs Lesser Yellowlegs 11 Solitary Sandpiper Spotted Sandpiper Semipalmated Sandpiper Least Sandpiper Pectoral Sandpiper ~300 Stilt Sandpiper 6 Buff-breasted Sandpiper 1 at least Cliff Swallow ~4000 The 2nd pond still had water and had at least 7 Pied-billed Grebes with some juveniles. Bald Eagle 2 adults at a pond near Hadensville off Hwy. 848 east of Hwy. 79 Fishing Creek Rec. a very crisp juvenile Short-billed Dowitcher along with very few common shorebirds.
