Part of the afternoon was spent with Aaron Hulsey and
Steve Kistler with the following highlights:

GREATER SCAUP (8)
AMERICAN BITTERN (fresh roadkill at culvert)
BROAD-WINGED HAWK (4 high and northbound, located by
seeing the godwits look up)
MERLIN
MARBLED GODWITS (10 In addition to the flock of 8
previously reported, there were 2 resting with gulls
at the northeastern area of the lake)
SPOTTED SANDPIPER
AMERICAN PIPIT
PALM WARBLER (Spotted by Aaron)

Yardbirds this morning included singing Black and
White Warbler and Red-eyed Vireo.

On another note of interest, I had a lady call me this
morning reporting a Great Egret in her yard in Bowling
Green which was apparently injured during the storm
last night. Strange yard bird for the middle of town!
