Well one martin, I had a single female circle overhead yesterday here in my
Lexington yard. She did not visit the martin house. It is the first time my
first martin was a she.
I had a flyover common loon yesterday morning in the Lowe's parking lot early
morning. I was not in birding mode, hardly awake, but I could not miss that
call. The loon was flying quite low and seemed a bit distressed, calling
frequently as it headed due north.
Last week's travel to and from work included an adult bald eagle, osprey, and
great horned owl.
