Another fine morning out there, although starting temps were decidedly cool.
No new spring species, but first singing brown thrasher and yellow-rumped
warbler were a treat. Male purple finches and sapsuckers decked out
in spring plumage were putting on a show. Redheaded woodpeckers were
chasing each other loudly around the forest edges.
