Mary Walter and I had some interesting birds at Caperton Swamp Saturday. The birds seemed like early wanderers, a hint of the migration that's starting to gear up. Warblers: blue-winged (2), blackburnian, cerulean (was also there last weekend; assume it's about to depart), prothonotary, black-and-white, yellow. Also had two other warblers that zipped through too quickly for a clear ID. Vireos: red-eyed, warbling, yellow-throated. Empid. flycatcher, least? Ben Yandell Louisville
