I have lived on this farm since 1974..I have never seen these birds here
before....it was a thrill to see the following..
My husband saw a bird that he hadn't ever seen before...he described it to me
the best he could, but I couldn't figure it out..but today I saw it.... He had
seen a Common Yellow Throat. I had never seen one before..they aren't normal
for our farm at least.
Last week, I had the pleasure of seeing a Magnolia Warbler also.. and those
aren't usually around here. that is one gorgeous bird.
And last but not least..we had a pair of Black and White Warblers..I have not
seen them since.
I don't know what's up with the Warblers.. I haven't ever seen any around here
before... Now that we've seen the Common Yellow Throat, maybe it's staying,
since it's been here a couple weeks.. I sure hope so..that was fun to see it!!
We thoroughly enjoy our American Goldfinch...so pretty..but it was such a
delight to see those Warblers!!!
