Missing the saturday walk, Rhonda and I got out in a light rain this morning.
While the rain didn’t dampen our spirits, well I come with pre-dampened spirits
to some degree, it did slow the birding.
We managed the Yellow-throated, Red-eyed, and Blue-headed vireos. Lots of
gnatcatchers, Hermit Thrush, and two Wood Thrush. Nary a single warbler. The
White-throated sparrows were in constant song in all directions.
