[birdky] Lexington Cemetery

Rhonda spotted a Bobolink at the 104 exit of 75 in Fayette County on
Friday evening the 6th.

I had a Golden-winged Warbler singing in Harrison County the next
morning, but could not locate for a visual.
A trip to the Lexington cemetery Sunday has left me with warbler neck,
but was worth the pain. The numbers were good if the variety wasn't. The
majority of the warblers were Chestnut-sided and Cape May. There was
also good numbers of Blackburnian, Palm, and Tennessee. Others were
Nashville, Black-and-white, Yellow-throated, and Oven. Also were
Yellow-throated Vireo, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, and Swainson' Thrush.
Nary a Nuthatch.

I also saw a Kestrel take a young Killdeer yesterday from the field
behind my house.

Oh yeah, Thursday morning I saw 3 Black-crowned Night Herons on the
Lexington reservoir.
