I had nothing of note, other than the eerie noise made by the ice sheets and brisk wind at the causeway. Coupled with the vocals of a pair of geese reaffirming their relationship it sounded much like an orchestra during warm up; no symphony followed. Rarest find was 4 common goldeneye. Added creepers to my year's tally with 2 and reduced my woodpecker hunt to one with a very muddy trek around Raven Run. We had 4 Hermit Thrush on the walk also. Rather quiet otherwise. Scott Marsh
