Thought I'd pass along an update on our bald eagle nest surveys.  This was our
first year of surveys using our new regional monitoring
scheme<https://fw.ky.gov/Wildlife/Documents/Eagles/KYBaldEagleMonitoringPlan2021.pdf>
designed to save time and funding. Growth in bald eagle nest numbers
continued, with 74 nests documented in the central Kentucky region.  (Just 53
nests were found in this region in 2019).  Bald eagles continue to do well in
Kentucky!  A detailed report is available upon request.
