I spent four hours birding around KY Lake this afternoon. My first stop at the 68/80 bridge produced many ring-billed gulls and one Laughing Gull. At the Jonathan Creek bridge Common and Forster's Terns were seen. KY Dam was alive with gulls but mostly Ring-billed and a few Herring. Caspian Terns were resting on the marina roof. No shorebird habitat and no shorebirds. Nothing exciting but it was a great day to be out looking. Hap Murray, KY
