Now that the lakes have dropped and mud flats are expansive the birds have
habitat.
Both Jonathan creek and Blood River have attracted American white Pelicans by
the hundreds. This evening there were well over 1200 across from my cabin at
crappie hollow.
Shorebirds have been coming and going.
One American Avocet was still at JC today with Stilt sp, yellowlegs , least
sp.m, fish crows and Forster's terns.
A black-necked stilt, semipalmated, American golden and Black-bellied plovers
were seen at Crappie Hollow.
