The KOS website has been updated with new information about our spring and
fall meetings.
First, on the upcoming meetings page (
https://birdky.org/kosmeetings-1-upcoming.php), you can find updated
information about the next KOS meeting, to be held at Kentucky Dam Village
State Resort Park from April 28-30, 2023. As more information becomes
available about this upcoming event it will be posted there.
Next, you can visit the past meetings page (
https://birdky.org/kosmeetings-2-past.php), where we have a recap of the
recent KOS fall meeting, which was held in September 2022 at Pine Mountain
State Resort Park. On that page, you can read about highlights of the event
and explore the following recently added content:
- Information about important KOS business decisions made at the meeting.
- Weekend Photo Album - An online slideshow of photos taken during the
meeting by attendees. We're still accepting photos if you'd like to send
some in. Submission instructions can be found on the past meetings page.
- Steve Kistler's Bird Quiz - Take the quiz that was presented at the
meeting (in abbreviated form).
- eBird Trip Report - A combined eBird list for checklists submitted
during the weekend.
- Weekend Bird List - A compilation of birds reported as being seen
during the weekend meeting.
