We looked to the long-tailed duck again Saturday morning but the things we
surprisingly frozen.
The 2 immature Mute Swans had slept motionless enough that they were frozen
into the ice. The adult had kept a small hole open, but the others had no room
to move at all. One looked up once, but went right back to its nap.
