A friend of mine has brought it to my attention that the Black Scoter has
been unusually elusive for people who have gone to look for it as of late.
I found it quite difficult myself, and made notes that I hoped would help
people in my ebird report. Weather permitting I will try to be there
starting around 930-10 and try to see if I can locate it with my scope when
I'm down there. I will try to stay around to help any who would like to
hunt for it until about 1130 or so when I need to leave for work. This
weather may have moved it on, but hopefully moved something else of
