Back in 2015 I posted some photos of USGS topo maps on Flickr that show what I
regard to be the best set of state boundary lines around. Also included were
state lines from the KY GIS layer aerial photos. They are both shown on the

Over the years it has become clear that no group of people cares more about
state lines than birders . . . although eBird has sort of changed the paradigm
now with its protocols and the lines have blurred once again . . . :-(
