Horseshoe Road Slough:
I did make it out to Horseshoe Road by going the long way around via
Uniontown/Mt. Vernon Road.
To get there via Henderson’s KY136 gets really bad beyond the pavement end.
Then becomes impassable beyond KY1574.
Horseshoe Road is flooded at the eastern portion.
Sand Slough seems to be where the shorebirds are. I never saw any dowitchers
either yesterday or today. But then I don’t bird with a scope so they may
actually be there.
