Soon after Alison and I set off on a front field circle this morning, we heard
geese honking and saw 6 pass over from the direction of Middle Pond. As we
approached Middle Pond, there were still 2 Canada Geese hanging out there and
they stayed put as we passed within 70 feet of them. Not quite nesting
behavior, but seems at least territorial.
