Spotted an adult Eastern Kingbird this morning near the lake by Blankenbaker cemetery (off Bluegrass Parkway) . Not as dramatic as the previously reported spotting of the Western Kingbird at the Melco basin, but being a novice, it was the first time I've identified this bird, so it was a memorable spotting.
