Yesterday on our regular late afternoon walk, we saw a dozen ducks on a wet
spot about 3/4 mile up Wash Gunn Road from home. They may have been more Scaup,
but it was too late in the day to return with the scope. I returned this
morning to find the ducks gone, but saw a Pectoral Sandpiper early enough to be
flagged as rare. Also saw my first Rusty Blackbirds of the year.
