Do any of you have experience with birding guides in Costa Rica.We are planning
to go there in December but are not too keen on staying in one of the dedicated
birding resorts. Our idea was to stay in San Jose and do a few day trips to
nearby forest reserves / coastal areas. That would allow us time to do things
other than birding.The perfect person would be a guide who is familiar with
flora / fauna and also can help with history / culture of the area.Our idea is
to hire the services of this person as a dedicated guide for the duration of
our stay.Would appreciate any suggestions in this regard.
