For any interested I will be making another trip to Beckley Creek Park this
Friday March 7th for Woodcocks.
If you are not familiar with the park meet at 6pm at the first parking lot area
on the left as you enter the park from Shelbyville road. I will be birding a
few spots before going to the woodcock area. There are also open restrooms
there.
Also you can join us at 6:30 at the woodcock display area. From the entrance of
the park follow the park road to the Egg Lawn. Turn left on the road at Egg
Lawn. Then make a left over the Thornton bridge and follow the road south.
The first parking lot on right is near the Humana legacy commons on the map.
However the second parking lot down the road and on the right is where we will
be at.
Bring a folding chair and flashlight if you like. Sunset is at 6:42 pm so
Woodcocks will hopefully display a few minutes after.
