Drove around the park birding by ear mostly to scout for an upcoming field
trip. Didn't spend much time really, Nothing unusual to report bird wise.
However my heart sunk when I came to the woodcock display area that had been
productive the last month or so. The entire field has been mowed to the ground.
So sad... It was nice while it lasted.
