For those interested, the Baird's sandpipers are still at the hatchery. In fact, there seemed to be a 3rd bird today (another Baird's was found in a nearby drained pond, and I'm figuring it was a separate bird from the other 2 seen together). I really appreciated the close looks the hatchery provides. As well, the birds were frequently in the same field of view with Least and Pectoral sandpipers (some of it's most look-a-like cousins) offering fantastic comparisons. I did not seem the Golden Plover.
