[birdky] BKY: Migration in Jefferson County

Migration seems to be in full swing here in Jefferson County. But we are so
dry! The creek that runs behind our home is almost dried up. We desperately
need rain.

A stroll along the Riverwalk in Shawnee Park this morning produced 5 or 6
Golden-winged Warblers. What beautiful birds!

Yesterday at home the cold front that pushed through provided fall outs of
birds -- a Broad-winged Hawk, Swainson's Thrushes, Red-eyed and Warbling
Vireos, Catbirds, and thirteen species of warblers. Redstarts seemed to be
everywhere.

Today we had a really nice Gr. Crested Flycatcher and a Yellow-bellied
Flycatcher.

Eager to see what tomorrow will bring.
